You will be met on arrival at Srinagar at Srinagar airport and transfer to your house boat. Later proceed to visit Mughal garden and Shalimar Bagh. + Have a Shikara ride and back to house boat for dinner and overnight stay.
Morning after Breakfast leave for Kargil, by visiting Sonamarg (Known As Meadow of Gold), Enroute Drass which has become famous as the second coldest inhabited place in the world by virtue of the intense cold that descends upon the valley along with repeated snowfall during winter. Winter temperature is sometimes known to plummet to less than 40 degree Celsius. Have a magnificent view of Kargil war Famous Peaks (Tiger Hill, Tololing) & visit Vijay Smarak and pay your tribute to soldiers who laid their lives for us in Kargil War in 1999, reach Kargil hotel by evening. Morning after Breakfast leave for Ule, enroute visit Mulbek it is a huge Chamba statue, an image of a future Buddha, cutting to the rock face beside the road. It's one of the most interesting stops along the road, after that visit Lamayuru monastery (Founded in the 10th Century its the Oldest Monastery in Central Ladakh) later have a magnificent view of spectacular Moonlandscape. leave for Leh enroute visit Alchi Monastery, Nimo , Sangam of Zanskar and Indus River, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara. Lunch at Hotel in Leh. Evening free time at Leisure.
After breakfast drive to Visit Shanti Stupa + drive further to have rafting in Zanskar river. Back to Leh in teh afternoon and have city tour of interesting places or places of your choice .
Post lunch explore Shey and Thikse monasteries
This summer palace of the erstwhile King of Leh is set upon a hill. The monastery itself has a 7.5 meter high, copper statue of a sitting Buddha, wrought in gold. This is the largest of its kind in the world.
19 Kms from Leh, Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. The Thiksey monastery provides a panoramic view of the green Indus Valley from its vantage point atop a hill. It has chambers full of statues, Stupas and colorful Tankhas.
Dinner and overnight at hotel.
After breakfast leave for Nubra Valley, driving across Khardong-la (alt: 18,380 ft). After descending from the pass, drive on for sightseeing of Sumoor area and Samstaling Gompa. Later check into a fixed camp in the same area or drive across to Deskit / Hundar for dinner and overnight in a fixed camp or hotel.
In the morning visit / explore Deskit, Hundar and the Sand Dunes where you can enjoy a short camel safari using the double-humped Bactrian camel found here (optional on direct payment). Later drive to Pangong Lake via Shyok Village crossing Durbuk and Tangste finally reaching The beautiful Pangong lake. After full day of sightseeing around the Lake check-in at fixed tented camp near the lake at Spangmik or drive back for 30 kms to Tangtse and check into Hotel / Guest House for dinner and overnight stay.
Drive to Tsomoriri Lake. It is a breathtaking journey on a trail that is literally a no mans land. Vast lonely stretches on the Chanthang plateau makes this drive one of the best isolated drives of this tour. Enroute visit the faraway settlement of Chusul. Tsomoriri is situated at an altitude of 4511m above sea level; with an area of about 140 Sq.km. Spend your evening watching shadows of the surrounding mountain and the varying depths of Tsomoriri lake. Stay in tented cottages at Tso Moriri.
After breakfast retrace the route down to Puga Sumdo and then follow the road across the Polokongka Pass (4920 mtrs) to visit Tsokar Lake, a salt lake system in the Rupsho plateau which is home of the Changa nomads and support many rare wild life species. After Tso Kar Lake you will join the Manali highway and descend to reach at Sarchu. Beautiful to enjoy an overnight stay.
Drive down to reach at Jispa and further to keylong which is the district headquarter of this region and following the chandara and Bhaga river you will reach at Gramphu which is the base for Rohtang pass and need to ascend up at the top of the Rohtang Pass which is one of the major attraction on this route. Spend some time at the pass and enter in beautiful lush green valley of Manali. Arrive at Manali and enjoy the beautiful market of this hill station. Stay overnight in Manali
After leisurely breakfast check out and you can take a Volvo to Delhi Chandigarh and fly out from Kullu airport
